The Stationary Book Tag

Hi, friends!

I’m so glad I was tagged in this! I’m really excited to go through all these questions, and I’m also excited I’m going to be able to see your responses as well! I was tagged by the wonderful Jenna at Bookmark Your Thoughts and I can’t wait to get into this! Honestly, my favorite part about school is the back to school shopping, so this should be a lot of fun!

FAVORITE MIDDLE GRADE OR CHILDREN’S BOOK

Wow, there’s a lot of these that I want to post, but I’ll limit it.

PENS

A BASIC STAPLE FOR ANY READER

This one’s tough. I stay in my own genre’s so much that I don’t really have a good one for this. I guess I’d say the one book I think everyone should read would be The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

NOTEBOOKS

WHAT BOOKS DO YOU OWN MULTIPLE COPIES OF?

The reason I own multiple copies of books is because, at some point, I thought I lost it, only to find it a week later. Or, I see a book I think is interesting, buy it, and realize that I already have it at home. I have The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness (I haven’t even read it yet…), The Naming by Alison Croggon, and The End by Charlie Higson.

MARKERS

A BOOK WITH A BEAUTIFUL COVER

Paper Princess by Erin Watt and Don’t Look Back by Jennifer Armentrout are both stunning, in my opinion. Shout out to Karoline for helping me decide.

GLUE

TWO CHARACTERS THAT WORK WELL TOGETHER EVEN IF THEY AREN’T TOGETHER

I’m going to take this as a ‘they can be together’ type thing. Kat and Daemon from the Lux Series by Jennifer Armentrout will FOREVER be my go to. I love them. I need them. I have reread those books over ten times and I really don’t want to write a review on them because I’m just so blissfully happy that I can reread them over and over again. It gives me an excuse.

Anyways, I think they work really well together. Once Daemon gets over himself and Kat gets a grip, they are perfectly in sync for the rest of the book. It’s amazing to read and watch it unfold.

SCISSORS

WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESTROY?

I hate to say that there’s actually quite a few.. Fire Study by Maria Snyder is one of them. I wish I could just rewrite the book! I couldn’t stand it. The first two books in the series were FABULOUS. Absolutely fantastic. Then you get to the third one and it felt like a completely different series.

Angel Fire by L.A. Weatherly is another one I’d love to chop up. I have to admit, I did ruin it a little bit for myself by reading what was going to happen, but I just couldn’t help myself!! The reason I hate this one is because the entire first book (which I actually did enjoy) was centered around the two main characters, but in this one they bring in a LOVE TRIANGLE. I HATE love triangles with a passion. If there is any hint of one, I will not read the book. I refuse.

There’s some more such as the Fallen Series by Lauren Kate, and the Wondrous Strange series by Lesley Livingston, but those were mainly  because I tried so hard so many times to finish them and I couldn’t do it.

ART KIT

WHAT COMPLETE SERIES DO YOU OWN?

Oh.. So many. Let’s go!

Those are what are currently on my bookshelf right now, but I also have books in storage and over 500 on my kindle.
